Yum Rank
Nobody knows what four stars means. Everybody knows which of two places was better. Yum Rank asks you that, a few times, and puts the new place exactly where it belongs.
Pick a bucket, then answer a handful of this-or-that comparisons. The position comes out of the answers.
A score is where a place sits in your own list — not an average of strangers who wanted something else for dinner.
Follow people and see their real order, with their notes. Third of ninety is a different claim from third of four.
A private account approves its own followers. Nothing you rank is visible to anyone you haven't let in.
Something broken, or an idea for what it should do next? Email jesus.ed.sanchez@gmail.com and you'll get a reply from a person.
If you're reporting a problem, the device model and OS version help more than anything else.
Settings → Private account. From then on only followers you approve can see what you've ranked. People can still find your handle and ask.
Settings → Delete account, inside the app. It removes your profile, every ranking and note you've written, your want-to-try list, your photo and your follows — on both sides. Your handle goes back into the pool. It's immediate and can't be undone.
